New M4 Widening now open
Progress has been made to improve travel across the West. The new M4 widening is now complete.
The newly widened section of the M4 will be opened to motorists from 15 July 2017. A distance based toll will be introduced one month after the opening and only apply between Church Street, Parramatta and Homebush Drive, Homebush. Over 80 per cent of the M4 Motorway, between Emu Plains and Parramatta, will remain un-tolled.
The toll will range from $1.77 to $4.56 for cars and motorbikes or $5.30 to $13.67 for heavy vehicles.
To calculate the toll from different entries and exits on the M4 use the toll calculator.
E-Tags and Passes
Motorists will need a working electronic toll tag or pass correctly fitted to their vehicle. You can use any toll tag product on the M4.
If your vehicle does not have a tag or pass, you can order an E-Toll tag or eMU Pass (30 day pass) from Roads and Maritime Services
If you drive on the M4 without a tag or pass, once the toll period beings, you will have three days to pay by calling 131 865.
