Transport for NSW has been engaging with local residents, businesses and councils on the proposed temporary parking changes to accommodate the additional bus services needed to keep our customers moving during upgrade works on the T3 Bankstown Line.
The next stage of major work to upgrade the T3 Bankstown Line to metro standards will take place in the upcoming June/July school holidays, when there are fewer customers on the rail network.
Rail replacement bus services will be provided during this period with a number of bus services transporting customers to select stations on the T8 Airport and South Line during this time.
Community members can view notifications and maps on the temporary parking changes on the Sydenham to Bankstown project page.
Transport for NSW will consider any feedback received, and will work with the relevant Councils on the changes to temporary parking, which will be in place from 28 June to 11 July 2021.
Final transport plans that will keep customers moving during the upgrade will be shared with the community well in advance to give people plenty of time to plan ahead.
The T3 Line between Sydenham and Bankstown will be closed from 28 June 2021 to 11 July 2021 for these important upgrade works.
