Avoid a Cruel Summer and plan ahead to see Taylor Swift

It’s been a long time coming, and with 300,000 Swifties expected to descend on Accor Stadium over four nights from Friday to Monday, fans are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid traffic delays.

Friday and Saturday nights will be especially busy, with a combined crowd of around 100,000 expected as Blink 182 performs next door at Qudos Bank Arena.

Never go out of style by joining other Swifties catching a train or major event bus to the concertWith the cost of travel already included in concert tickets, public transport is the easiest way to get there. Simply show your Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour concert ticket to transport staff when boarding.

More than 1,200 extra train and bus services will operate across the four nights to help event-goers travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park. This includes more than 700 extra buses and more than 550 extra trains.

It’s going to be extremely busy on the roads and public transport with more than 75,000 ticketholders expected to attend each concert so allow extra travel time and plan ahead by visiting transportnsw.info or using trip planning apps.

  • Express and limited-stop trains will run to Olympic Park from Central and Western Line stations from mid-afternoon each day, with frequent return services until late each night. From Olympic Park station, the stadium is a short 10-minute walk away.
    • Please note that if you are travelling from the upper Central Coast/Newcastle region or the South Coast, trackwork will affect your trip. Plan ahead and allow extra time.
  • Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes for all four shows:
    • Friday and Monday: services will run every 5 to 20 minutes between 2:42pm and 6:33pm, depending on the route. Last return bus leaves Olympic Park at midnight.
    • Saturday and Sunday: services will run every 5 to 20 minutes between 3:05pm and 6:38pm, depending on the route. Last return bus leaves Olympic Park at midnight.
