Catch public transport to party with P!nk at final Sydney show

Pop superstar, P!nk will have Accor Stadium rocking on Saturday 16 March for the final show of her Summer Carnival Tour in Sydney and fans are encouraged to take advantage of frequent public transport services to and from the concert.

With 70,000 people expected to attend and thousands of additional AFL fans due to leave the precinct after a match at GIANTS Stadium, public transport is the best way to get to Olympic Park. Fans are also urged to leave the car at home as traffic will be heavy around the area and parking is limited.

Transport for NSW Coordinator General Howard Collins said hundreds of additional trains and buses will be in operation across the night.

“Express and limited-stop trains will be running every 10 minutes from Central and Western Line stations to Olympic Park, as well as Major Event Buses on all nine routes, every 6 to 20 minutes between 3:30pm and 7:15pm, with frequent return services after the show” Mr. Collins said.

“Transport is included with your concert ticket; all you have to do is show your ticket to transport staff when boarding.”

AFL fans, travelling by train, have public transport included in their ticket. All others will need to tap on and off services using an Opal card or contactless payment method.

“If you must drive, or are catching taxis or rideshare, please leave with plenty of additional travel time and expect traffic delays.”

Please note, parking at Olympic Park is now sold out, attendees who haven’t pre-booked a space will need to catch public transport or catch taxis or rideshare

If you're travelling from the west, please note that due to planned trackwork, buses replace T1 Western Line trains between Emu Plains and Blacktown. Trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond, Blacktown and the City. Allow extra travel time as you'll need to change for buses to continue your trip. Consider parking at one of the many station commuter car parks including Schofields, Seven Hills or Blacktown and continue your trip by train to Olympic Park.

Metro North West passengers should also be aware that because of planned trackwork and testing for the upcoming metro extension into the Sydney CBD, buses will replace services on the metro line between Tallawong and Chatswood. While for fans living in the Inner West, the L1 Light rail has been extended until 1am.

If you are being dropped off or catching rideshare and taxis, expect traffic to be congested on roads immediately around the stadium and consider getting out, away from the precinct, to continue on foot instead.

Please note, Easter Show infrastructure and fencing is in place. Follow directions and signage as walking routes around the precinct have changed.
