Plan your trip to the Sydney Royal Easter Show 2024

It’s time to get egg-cited and start planning your trip to the Sydney Royal Easter Show, held over 12 days from Friday 22 March to Tuesday 2 April 2024 at Sydney Olympic Park.

This year’s show is held outside of school holidays so weekends are expected to be busy, particularly the Easter Long Weekend (Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April). Consider visiting on a weekday to avoid the largest crowds, especially if you’re taking young children.

Plan ahead as you’ll need to purchase a ticket for the specific day you wish to visit the Show. Tickets are non-transferable to other Show days as strict daily ticket limits are in place. For more information and to purchase your Show ticket, visit Easter Show – tickets.  

Tickets to the Easter Show include event entry and travel on public transport. Avoid the traffic delays and catch public transport instead.

Express and limited-stop trains will run to Olympic Park from Central and Western Line stations on weekends with some additional services on weekdays.

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run each day of the Easter Show from early morning until around 3pm, with return buses leaving Olympic Park from 2pm until 10:30pm each night. Buses will run every 10 to 20 minutes, timetables vary on weekdays and weekends.

Trackwork will continue during the Show and may affect your trip by train or metro, depending on where you are travelling from, so plan ahead before leaving home.

If you must drive, it’s essential to pre-book parking online in advance. Parking in Olympic Park is likely to sell out, particularly on weekends, so get in early and secure your parking space now.

Also consider parking at a nearby station commuter carpark and continue your trip by train or bus to Olympic Park.
