Changed traffic conditions at North Sydney from this Friday

Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time with changed traffic conditions in effect on the Warringah Freeway from 10pm Friday 3 November to 4.30am Monday 6 November.

Work from this weekend will contribute to the construction of the Ernest Street and Falcon Street shared user bridges.

Traffic changes will include:

  • Miller Street southbound on ramp full closure from Friday 10pm to Saturday 8am, Monday 12:30am to 4:30am
  • Ernest Street northbound off ramp full closure from Friday 10pm to Saturday 8am, Saturday 8pm to Sunday 12:30am
  • Falcon Street northbound on ramp full closure from Friday 10pm to Sunday 12:30am
  • Southbound inner carriageway full closure from Friday 11pm to Saturday 6am

  • Berry Street northbound on ramp closure from Sunday 12:30am to 7am

Motorists travelling south on Friday night will need to access the southbound Sydney Harbour Tunnel from the Ernest Street or Falcon Street / Military Road on ramps. If travelling from further north, motorists will need to use Sydney Harbour Bridge/Cahill Expressway to cross the harbour.

Motorists travelling northbound on Saturday night through to Sunday morning 7am are advised to consider using the Pacific Highway detour over this period. If travelling north from the Sydney CBD, motorists will need to use the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Pacific Highway.
