Tune in for the Inner West Community Catch Up Livestream

Anyone with a keen interest in the Inner West is invited to tune in for Transport’s next Community Catch Up Livestream from 1.00pm on Wednesday 18 October.

The livestream will give the community an opportunity to hear the latest updates and ask questions on what's happening around the Bayside, Burwood, Canada Bay, Inner West and Strathfield Council areas.

On the agenda this month is an update from the Sydney Gateway project team on upcoming traffic switches to our new road connections later this year. There will be a staged approach as the project moves toward completion at the end of 2024, so this is a great opportunity to learn what these traffic switches mean for you.

The Rozelle Interchange and Parklands team will also be providing a project update, including final tunnel fit-out and testing, laying turf on the 15,000 square metre playing fields, installing play equipment and fitness stations, additional tree planting and more.

Transport’s Inner West team will also go through updates to a range of smaller projects across the area, including accessibility upgrades at Stanmore Station, your chance to have your say on relocating the Bus Stop on Harris Street and Allen Street in Pyrmont, repair works on Wattle Street, Haberfield, and more.

Transport for NSW is delivering critical infrastructure upgrades in the Inner West to provide better connection to and enjoyment of place. Tune in to one of our regular livestreams for updates on all the projects in progress in the Inner West.
