Upcoming works across Sydney’s road network

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Sydney Harbour Bridge from tonight, 9 June, for maintenance and Warringah Freeway Upgrade works.

Sydney Harbour Bridge

Up to five lanes on the Sydney Harbour Bridge deck will be closed for maintenance and upgrade works from tonight:

  • Friday 9 June – 11pm to 6am
  • Tuesday 13 June – 10pm to 4.30am
  • Wednesday 14 June – 10pm to 4.30am
  • Thursday 15 June – 10.30pm to 4:30am

On Monday 12 June and Wednesday 14 June there will be one northbound lane closed between 8.30pm and 10pm for the Vivid drone show.

Motorists can use the Sydney Harbour Tunnel as an alternative route during these times.

Sydney Harbour Tunnel

There will be a northbound lane closure in the Sydney Harbour Tunnel on Friday 2, Monday 12 and Thursday 15 June between 11.30pm and 4.30am.

The tunnel will be closed southbound on Sunday 11 June from 10.30pm to 6am. Motorists can detour over the Sydney Harbour Bridge during these times.

Rozelle Interchange

Motorists should be aware there will be changes to the City West link eastbound lanes from next Thursday, 15 June.

Those heading towards the city over the Anzac Bridge will need to change to the left lanes earlier, while motorists heading to Victoria Road need to move to the lanes on the right earlier.

Motorists must now make this decision before the intersection of City West Link and The Crescent.

Please drive carefully and follow the directions of signs and traffic crews.
