  • Friday 22 November: 9.30pm – 7.30am (up to five lanes)

  • Saturday 23 November: 9.30pm – 6.30am (up to five lanes)

  • Sunday 24 November: 10pm – 4.30am (three lanes)

  • Monday 25 November: 9pm – 5am (five lanes)

  • Wednesday 27 November: 9pm – 5am (five lanes)

  • Thursday 28 November: 9.30pm – 5am (four lanes)

Motorists can use other lanes on the Sydney Harbour Bridge or drive through the Sydney Harbour Tunnel as an alternative route, noting tunnel closures below.

Sydney Harbour Tunnel

Motorists are advised that the Sydney Harbour Tunnel will be partially or fully closed at certain times over the next week.

  • Monday 25 November: 10pm – 5am (one northbound lane)

  • Tuesday 26 November: 10.30pm – 5am (both northbound and both southbound lanes)

  • Wednesday 27 November: 10pm – 5am (one northbound lane)

Warringah Freeway Upgrade

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Warringah Freeway this weekend.  Multiple temporary lane and ramp closures will be in place from 10pm tonight, Friday 22 November. Traffic changes include:

  • The Alfred Street southbound off ramp will be temporarily closed to all traffic until mid-2025 from 10pm Friday 22 November 2024. The recommended detour for motorists driving to North Sydney, Kirribilli and Neutral Bay is via Pacific Highway (un-tolled). An alternative route is to exit on the Falcon Street off ramp, but please be aware this option will incur a toll.

  • Mount Street eastern on ramp to Cahill Expressway is closed continuously from 9.30pm Friday 22 November to 6pm Sunday 24 November.  Motorists travelling from High Street or Mount Street to the Cahill Expressway will need to use the on ramp from Mount Street to the Bradfield Highway instead and detour through the CBD, via the Grosvenor Street exit, Bridge Street and Macquarie Street to the Eastern Distributor.

  • The Miller Street southbound on ramp continues to be closed from 10am to 6pm weekdays until mid-December 2024. Motorists are advised to use either the Ernest Street or the Falcon Street on ramp. The on ramp may also be closed on some nights. Motorists should check signage and follow the detour.

Major events

Tens of thousands of ticketholders are expected to attend Pearl Jam’s second concert at ENGIE Stadium this Saturday night. Express and limited-stop event trains will be running from Central to Olympic Park, with frequent return services after the show. Trains will also run regularly to Lidcombe where fans can change for shuttle services to Olympic Park running every 10 minutes.

Major Event Buses will run every 10 – 20 minutes between 3.35pm and 6.53pm, depending on the route. After the show buses will run until last service at 11.30pm.

Travel on public transport is included in concert tickets. Parking is selling fast, if you have to drive pre-book parking online to secure a space.
