Motorists are advised of ongoing changed traffic conditions on the Warringah Freeway. Traffic changes include:
- The Alfred Street southbound off ramp is now temporarily closed to all traffic until mid-2025. The recommended detour for motorists driving to North Sydney, Kirribilli and Neutral Bay is via Pacific Highway (un-tolled). An alternative route is to exit on the Falcon Street off ramp, but please be aware this option will incur a toll.
- The Miller Street southbound on ramp continues to be closed from 10am to 6pm weekdays until mid-December 2024. Motorists are advised to use either the Ernest Street or the Falcon Street on ramp. The on ramp may also be closed on some nights. Motorists should check signage and follow the detour.
Major events
Around 20,000 music fans will head to the Domain Sydney for Dom Dolla on Friday and Saturday night. Shows start at 5pm Friday and 4pm Saturday, finishing at 11pm both nights.
Changed traffic conditions including road closures will be in place between 8pm and 12.30am within and around The Domain for crowd safety before, during and after the event.
Traffic will be heavier than usual in the Sydney CBD on approaches to The Domain before and after the event. Motorists should allow plenty of extra travel time and watch out for pedestrians in the area. A dedicated drop-off zone will be located on Hospital Rd at Art Gallery Rd.
