Weekend rail repair trackwork - 22-23 June

Passengers are urged to plan ahead this weekend, 22-23 June, as essential Rail Repair Plan trackwork continues to build a more resilient and reliable network.

Across the whole weekend, buses will replace trains between Cronulla, Waterfall and Sydenham on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line.

Sydney Trains will have more than 927 workers carrying out a significant amount of work over this period, including turnout renewal, geotechnical works, track reconstruction, bridge refurbishment and platform improvement.

Some trains may run to changed stopping pattern and timetable. Passengers may need to change trains and are encouraged to allow extra travel time and plan ahead by visiting transportnsw.info or using trip planning apps.

Intercity

On both Saturday and Sunday, buses will replace trains between Dapto, Port Kembla and Central on the South Coast Line. Passengers may need to change buses to continue your journey.
